Every year we send a deserving candidate to the Annual Women in Aviation Conference. There's no better place to be inspired, share your enthusiasm, and connect with others who share your passion for the aviation industry. An opportunity to connect, engage, and inspire! Winner receives conference registration and $500 travel stipend.

2025 Wheels Down South Scholarship Recipient: Krystle Roan (working towards CFI)

NATIONAL FLIGHT ACADEMY
An amazing opportunity for young girls in grades 7th to 12th grade looking for their path into aerospace. A week long camp dedicated to immersive STEM experiences, real missions, and flight simulation bring an unforgettable journey into aviation.

Each candidate provides a 500 word essay on what this experience would mean to them and play a part in their future.

WING FLIGHT
Women Inspiring the Next Generation Flight is an all female crewed B737 flight by Delta Air Lines to NASA Kennedy Space Center for a day! Departing Atlanta, Ga and landing directly on the space centers runway girls ages 11-18 will be immersed in every career imaginable in aerospace and more! The day includes flight, food, bus tour, panelist discussion, walking tour, and of course some unforgettable memories!

Each Candidate will need to be a Georgia resident and provided a 500 word essay on what this experience would mean to them.
