
Fernanda Quezada
PRESIDENT
Fernanda, born and raised in Mexico City, moved to the US in 2011 to pursue a BS in Aerospace Engineering at Wichita State University. She later earned her MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2018. Currently, Fernanda is an engineer at Delta Flight Products, where she designs and substantiates aircraft interior modifications and products.

Since joining Women in Aviation International (WAI) in 2019, Fernanda has been an active member and previously served as chapter Secretary. She loves connecting with others in aviation, supporting members in reaching their goals, and learning about the variety of roles that make the industry thrive. Her favorite events include Planes & Pumpkins and Girls in Aviation Day - where she enjoys helping inspire the next generation.
Outside of work and WAI, Fernanda is an avid traveler who enjoys experiencing new cultures, cuisines, and adventures. Some of her favorite trips have been to the Nordic countries (Iceland, Sweden, and Finland), Kenya, and Rwanda. Next on her travel list: Patagonia!
