About Dr. Nelva Bryant: Dr. Bryant is also the founder of DVM Transportation Consultants, LLC, a firm that provides consulting services to mitigate risk and ensure the safety of live animals during air transport. She has a DVM degree from Cornell University and an MPH degree from the University of Iowa, with a focus on public health and animal welfare. She has multiple certifications related to live animal transportation, including from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Her mission is to help animal owners, shippers, and airlines prepare for and facilitate the smooth and safe transport of pets and other animals.
