Emily Dykstra

 FUNDRAISING CO-CHAIR 

Emily Dykstra is a Pilot for NetJets on the Citation Latitude with a former background in the financial services industry. After obtaining a Business Administration Degree from Georgia Tech, she began flight lessons at PDK and worked towards becoming a professional pilot while balancing a full-time role in asset management consulting.

In early 2023, Emily began instructing full-time at Aero Atlanta at PDK and took the opportunity to get more involved with the local community, including Women in Aviation International. She is an active WAI Mentor, and is also involved with The Ninety-Nines as the Chair of Georgia Flying Belles Chapter and Director of the Southeast Section.

After attending Girls in Aviation Day and the 2025 Women in Aviation conference with other Wheels Down South members, Emily was inspired to increase her impact and is thrilled by the opportunity to serve as the Fundraising Co-Chair. She has received impactful guidance from those in the Wheels Down South chapter, and is passionate about supporting the community of women within the aviation industry.

Outside of flying, Emily enjoys staying active through running and yoga, traveling, reading, and searching for the best views of the sky.
