Mia Strain is a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines, bringing years of experience and a passion for aviation to her role. Before joining Delta, she spent over three years working as a flight attendant at Emirates Airline in Dubai, where she honed her skills in customer service and made cross-cultural connections while traveling the world.

 

Mia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Spelman College. In addition, she is an enthusiastic volunteer and is particularly passionate about mentoring young women in aviation. She actively participates in the annual Girls in Aviation Day, an event dedicated to inspiring the next generation of female aviators and aviation professionals.

 

A student pilot herself, Mia enjoys the freedom of general aviation and dreams of further advancing her career in the field. She has been a member of Women in Aviation International and the Wheels Down South Atlanta Chapter since 2020, where she continues to connect with other aviation professionals and support initiatives aimed at empowering women in the industry.

 

When she is not flying or volunteering, Mia enjoys investing and learning how to day trade, staying active with kickboxing and regular workouts, and traveling with family and friends,

exploring new destinations around the globe.
