Krystel Boy

Krystel Boy is a TechOps Field Safety Lead Program Manager for Delta Air Lines where she oversees field safety programs for Line Maintenance, Cabin Maintenance, and Logistics operations.  Ms. Boy began her aviation journey at age 19 when she earned her Airframe & Powerplant Certificate while attending Aviation Career & Technical High School.  As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, she worked as a Line Maintenance Intern with Delta Air Lines at John F. Kennedy Airport and Cactus Aviation Flight School in Las Vegas.  She continued refining her aviation skills at Spirit Airlines as an IEP Auditor and at Allegiant Air as Stations Operations SMS Manager. During her tenure at Allegiant, she contributed to the successful implementation of their SMS, working alongside the FAA and other industry leaders.

Ms. Boy has a passion for aviation, aircraft maintenance, and safety and wishes to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals. She is an active member of Women in Aviation International, Wheels Down South Chapter in Atlanta, GA.

Ms. Boy has a B.S. in Aerospace & Occupational Safety and an M.S. in Occupational Safety Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
